The formulas we create use natural ingredients and non-toxic synthetic ingredients combined with plants.
Why? Science has created safe and sustainable synthetic ingredients.
Natural ingredients can actually be harmful and unsustainable.
Āether Beauty takes the best of both worlds to create the best clean beauty products. After all, we wear this stuff everyday too!
Āether Beauty products are formulated to always be EU compliant-that means we ban over 1300 chemicals from our products. And we don't stop there. We've added a few more to the list while also always staying clean, vegan and 100% cruelty-free.
Parabens, phthalates, silicone, oxybenzone, synthetic perfumes, petrolatum, EDTA, DEA/TEA/MEA/ETA, PEGS + SLES, nanoparticles, heavy metals, BHA + BHT, Tricolsan, Triclocarban, Formaldehyde, Ethylene glycol, Teflon (PTFE), Aluminum, plastic microbeads, carbon black, talc, unsustainably sourced Mica, Palm Oil
Plus we source naturally derived, organic and fair-trade organic ingredients whenever possible.
No product will be launched at Āether Beauty unless there's a sustainable end that doesn't end up in a landfill. Did you know in cosmetics, all components are either mixed with different plastics and metals (making them unrecyclable) or the components are made with hard plastics- the kind you see with recycle number 4, 5,6,7 are almost never recycled? At Āether Beauty we push the boundaries to make all of our components recyclable. And we don't stop there. Our papers are made with FSC certified paper and printed with soy ink . Our components are always made using recycled materials, after all, we've made so much plastic in the world, considering it's here forever, we might as well be using it so it doesn't stay in our landfills or breakdown in our oceans.
We partner with a different charity for each product that we launch and give 1% of sales from that product directly to the charity. Our charities revovle to partner with a charity that represents one of the elements: earth, air, fire, water and aether. Know a charity we should consider? Please email us your suggestions.
